Kalahari Melon Seed Oil
Kalahari Melon Seed Oil

Kalahari Melon Seed Oil

This silky, luxurious oil contains 5x more Vitamin E than Argan Oil & 3x more than Prickly Pear Seed Oi.

Rich in antioxidants, Vitamins A, C, and E, and over 70% Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs).

Kalahari Melon Seed Oil is a powerhouse of natural Vitamin E (2,800 mg/kg) and Linoleic acid, an essential building block for ceramides, one of skin's main moisturizing elements, helping skin be blemish free and youthful. Our bodies can't make this essential fatty acid, so we need to get it from our food or put it on our skin. Linoleic acid helps strengthen the skin's barrier so it can effectively keep water in and irritants out.

Kalahari Melon Seed Oil:

  • Deeply moisturizing yet weightless & non-comedogenic

  • Helps protect from damaging free radicals

  • Helps to heal acne, scarring, and irritation

  • Helps stimulate collagen production and plump the skin
  • Ideal for all skin types, especially acne-prone, sensitive, dry and reactive skin.

  • Used on hair, this lightweight oil is deeply nourishing and moisturizing. It tames frizz, seals split ends, and creates shine without weighing down hair.
  • Sustainably farmed, harvested, and bottled in the local Kalahari region of South Africa, helping both the local community and the environment

Background: The Kalahari Melon is the ‘evolutionary ancestor’ of the watermelon. The two are actually quite different – the Kalahari Melon is small and intensely bitter, while the common watermelon is large with a sweet, red flesh. The oils are relatively similar, but there are two key differences. Kalahari Melon Seed oil contains higher levels of both essential fatty acids and Vitamin E, making it a far more superior oil. Better yet, this is one of the most sustainable oils on the planet. This drought resistant plant needs very little water to survive, and grows best in arid regions, away from forests in areas where other commercial crops struggle to grow.

How To Use: This multi-tasking oil may be used all over skin and hair. Best absorbed onto damp skin or hair.
